How to watch Vuelta a Espana 2022 Live Stream Cycling Online free. A guide on where to catch live coverage and highlights of the Vuelta a España 2022

The 77th Vuelta a España starts on Friday 19th August in the city and municipality of Utrecht in the Netherlands.

The three-week fight begins with the classic discipline of a team time-trial over 23.2km. The terrain includes three rest stages to cover the transfer from the Netherlands to Spain, with seven mountain stages, four hilly stages and the traditional finish in Madrid.

The race will cover 3,280.5 racing kilometres with the longest stage being Stage 3, a flat 193.5km effort that skirts the Belgian border, its Breda start and finish location within the province of North Brabant.

Heading the start list will be defending champion Primož Roglič of Jumbo-Visma (winner in 2019, 2020 and 2021) and Richard Carapaz of Ineos Grenadiers.

After his first-week injury in the 2022 Tour de France, Roglič moved from co-captain to lieutenant for Jonas Vingegaard. He was ultimately forced to abandon before Stage 15. Now he lines up with a strong team that includes Sepp Kuss, Mike Teunissen and Rohan Dennis.

Carapaz will be racing his last Grand Tour with Ineos Grenadiers before his move to EF Education-EasyPost for 2023.

Perhaps the biggest surprise omission is that of Nairo Quintana. The Movistar rider was recently disqualified from the 2022 Tour de France (after the race) due to testing positive for tramadol.

It is not a doping violation, but is an offence under UCI rules. Despite being allowed to race the Vuelta a España, he will instead now appeal the decision before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

It promises to be a fantastic final three weeks of Grand Tour racing but the question remains, how can you watch it as a fan? Below is a guide to how to watch and live stream the Vuelta a España 2022.
